RUCKED: Well I’m not sitting on your knee mate
SANTA: We don’t do that anymore
RUCKED: Elf and safety?
SANTA: Anyway, WHAT can I do for you?
RUCKED: Rugby predictions
SANTA: Eh?
RUCKED: You look like you’ve seen a scrum or two
SANTA: Yeah, normally involving the little uns’ and their pushy parents outside the grotto on Saturdays
RUCKED: How about on the rugby pitch
SANTA: I used to play a bit but got a bit out of shape, hence… (pats large belly)
RUCKED: Every prop worth his salt has one of those!
SANTA: I’d rather watch nowadays
RUCKED: Excellent! Next game you’re going to?
SANTA: The Rhinos on Boxing Day
RUCKED: Not so good, this is rugby union we’re talking about
SANTA: Oh, don’t know much about that soft sport
RUCKED: Soft, you’re having a laugh, ever been trapped at the bottom of a ruck?
SANTA: No. Is that when they just pile on each other?
RUCKED: Sort of. You want to get yourself down to watch Carnegie.
SANTA: Don’t they lose every week?
RUCKED: Ah, so you do know something, Mr Closest union fan! Will they lose this week?
SANTA: Who they playing?
RUCKED: Bath away
SANTA: I know that Bath are good, so I’ll go for them.
RUCKED: Newcastle v Gloucester?
SANTA: Is Jonny playing (clasps his hands and gets in praying on toilet stance)?
RUCKED: Very good that, he should be – injuries permitting
SANTA: Newcastle (in terrible Geordie accent) then
RUCKED: Finally a drop of Magners?
SANTA: You getting the cider out mate?
RUCKED: Partial to a pint or two?
SANTA: It’s not just Rudolph with the red nose here, is it!?
RUCKED: The Magners League is for the Welsh, Scots and Irish. How about Cardiff Blues v Newport Gwent Dragons?
SANTA: Not a clue. I went to Cardiff once for the Challenge Cup Final, and the Rhinos lost so the Dragons
