Week 2: LloydsTSB

LloydsTSB: Good afternoon, Richard speaking, how may I help?
RUCKED: Hello Richard, are you a rugby fan?

LloydsTSB: No, not really, I don’t know anything about it.
RUCKED: Well, that doesn’t matter, neither do we, would you care to predict this weekend’s results? You sound Scottish, how about the Scotland match? Are Scotland going to beat Portugal?

LloydsTSB: No, we’re rubbish at everything, although we’ll probably still win – fingers crossed. I’ve got a rugby fan called Stuart sitting next to me shall I ask him?
RUCKED: Um, okay, go on then.

LloydsTSB: Holding tone.

LloydsTSB: Stuart says 24-6 – whatever that means, I’ve got no idea.
RUCKED: Great stuff, now how about England v USA! USA! USA!

LloydsTSB: Hold on, I’ll ask him – oh, he’s on the phone again now.
RUCKED: Not to worry, just give us your view. Who do you reckon?

LloydsTSB: Probably USA.
RUCKED: Is that a bit of Scottish bias perhaps?

LloydsTSB: Not at all, I just think the Americans will win.
RUCKED: Controversial, but fair enough. How about Wales v Canada?

LloydsTSB: Hmm, well the Welsh are supposed to be good at rugby aren’t they?
RUCKED: Apparently.

LloydsTSB: Okay, then I’ll say Wales.
RUCKED: Brilliant. And, finally, Ireland v Namibia?

LloydsTSB: Ireland against who?

RUCKED: Namibia.

LloydsTSB: I’ll go for Ireland.
RUCKED: Good stuff, are you going to be watching the World Cup?

LloydsTSB: I wasn’t going to, but I might now I’ve spoken to you.
RUCKED: Excellent, thanks very much Richard, you’ve been a star.

England v USA! USA! USA! – USA! USA! USA! win
Wales v Canada – Wales win
